I want "SchaBLOGsky" to be a forum for you as much as it will be a journal for me. As a lifelong part of the movement for social and economic justice and as an organizer for most of my adult life, I am interested in strategizing with you about how best to accomplish such priorities as: universal health care, workers' rights and immigrants' rights, a cleaner environment, ending the war in Iraq, a secure retirement, individual liberties including freedom of choice, public education, affordable housing, real national security – you know the list. I invite you along with leaders from Chicago and across the nation who share our vision to post their thoughts – suggestions and criticisms – on this blog.
