2020 Winter Internship

Chicago Winter/Spring Internship

with Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky’s Campaign

January 21st – May 9th, 2020

This Winter and Spring, Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky’s political team is offering a selective, unpaid internship program focused on training vital political skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.  This program gives motivated interns opportunities to play a direct role in the upcoming 2020 Primary and General Elections inside and outside of Illinois.

This program emphasizes the development of core political skills through classroom-style instruction led by elected officials & political professionals and deploy those skills in real-world settings to help create victory for Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. Acceptance to the internship includes training with the Schakowsky Organizing Academy.

This unpaid internship may be eligible for class credit—if so, Team Schakowsky will work with interns to secure necessary approval from accredited educational institutions.
